Whose narrative?
Over the last few years the way we consume information has changed dramatically and the sources we get it from have been quite varied.
It has also become really apparent that there is a trust issue on all the new sources of information like the social media channels, but this lack of trust has spread to the mainstream media as they have also been found to cover only aspects of the narrative that they want the public to believe.
One now has to consume information from various sources with opposing narratives to try and make some sense of what the true story is about.
Unfortunately, these are not the times to feed off only one source of a narrative. One has to check the facts, past and present, and across several view points to reach a reasonable conclusion.
Let’s get into the habit of checking whose narrative it is before we run off with a partial fact and act on it as the truth.
