Peace and quiet
I have three children all under the age of 7. It’s in situations like this that you appreciate peace and quiet. Today happened to be one of those rare days when I had the house all to myself for a few hours.
It felt like a different place, I could hear the gripping sound of nothing. What a joy to think without distraction. I was able to reconnect with plans that had been lost in the chaos of the hustle of life.
Hear what two respected minds had to say about quiet.
“All men’s miseries derive from not being able to sit in a quiet room alone.” – Blaise Pascal
“The monotony and solitude of a quiet life stimulate the creative mind” – Albert Einstein
Don’t pass up on the chance to get away to a quiet place for some ample time alone, it might just be the energiser that you need for a worn out mind and tired soul.
Creative thoughts await to resolve troubles that would not abate, as you take a diet of peace and quiet.
